12 Vegan Dinners That Everyone Will Love and #TheFoodCalendar November 2016

It’s time to let you know what’s in The Food Calendar for November. I hope you had a fun Halloween yesterday, my boys had a lovely time dressing up and handing out sweets to all the trick-or-treaters. We’re looking forward to heading out to our local firework display in Saturday and then I’m going to be getting into full on Christmas mode 🙂

Today marks World Vegan Day and the start of World Vegan Month so I’ve searched out some great vegan dinner recipes from around the web to share with you…

20 Amazing Apple Recipes and #TheFoodCalendar October 2016

It’s time to let you know what’s in The Food Calendar for October. We’re finally in Autumn (although I’m happy to say that the weather hasn’t realised yet and it’s still lovely and warm). I’m fully suspecting that it’ll get it’s revenge in a few weeks but I’m going to enjoy the last little hints of summer while I still can.

One food that I firmly associate with Autumn is apples, so this month I’ve selected some amazing apple recipes to share with you to celebrate Bramley Apple Week from the 3rd to the 9th October and Apple Day on the 21st.

20 Delicious Coffee Morning Recipes & #TheFoodCalendar September 2016

It’s time to let you know what’s in The Food Calendar for September. I’m struggling to believe we’re already into September, my boys will be back at school next week (or starting school for Josh!) and I feel as though I’ve not done half of the things I planned to do during the summer holidays. That said anyone taking a look at my Instagram Stories will have noticed we’ve managed plenty of trips to the beach and our local park for picnics so I feel we really made the most of the sunshine.

One of the things I look forward to in the Autumn term is the Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning (this year it’s on the 30th September), it’s the perfect excuse to bake a cake and catch up with some of the parents and grandparents from school over a cup of tea. If you’re going along to one (or any other coffee morning/bake sale for that matter) and you’re not sure what to make then here’s some delicious recipe inspiration for you.

#TheFoodCalendar – August 2016

Welcome to the #TheFoodCalendar for August. I for one am getting very excited about the Olympics this month, so expect my blog to be very quiet over the next few weeks as I’m glued to the coverage on TV (and probably on my phone, iPad and radio all at the same time 🙂 ). I’m also looking forward to the return of the Bake Off but I can’t find a start date for it anywhere (so it’s not on the calendar yet), I’m guessing it’s been pushed back because of the Olympics coverage – if anyone knows when it starts then tell me because I don’t want to miss it!

#TheFoodCalendar – July 2016

Hi everyone and welcome to the newly named #TheFoodCalendar linky (it was my #FoodYearLinkup in case you couldn’t work that out 🙂 ).

With the miserable and un-summery weather we’ve been having over the last month, I’ve kept myself busy sat indoors doing a spot of rebranding. I suspect the miserable weather is actually all my fault as I happily mentioned enjoying lots of BBQs in the last linkup post – my garden has been thoroughly waterlogged ever since so sorry about that!

Along with the name change I’m also making a few changes to how the linky works (nothing too major, don’t worry). I’d love it if #TheFoodCalendar could become more than just a linky, so I’ve created more ways to join and share your posts, pictures and general thoughts about all of the events in the calendar.

#FoodYearLinkup – June 2016

Hello again, I hope you’re all outside enjoying this beautiful sunshine. I’ve been a bit quiet on the blog this week as it’s half term and we’ve been far too busy enjoying ourselves with trips to the beach, zoo and local country parks, we’ve even managed to sneak in a couple of BBQs in the evening too (well it is National BBQ week 🙂 ). What have you all been up to?

Once again I’m back with my monthly monthly #FoodYearLinkup the place to share and discover lots of foodie inspiration for events in June. Once again it’s absolutely jam packed with events so hopefully there’s plenty here to inspire you.

#FoodYearLinkup – March 2016

Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus! Welcome to March’s #FoodYearLinkup, I hope you all enjoyed your bonus day yesterday.

I’m feeling very organised for March’s linkup as I shared my first Easter recipe about a month ago – creme egg rocky road anyone? However, there’s far more than just Easter going on this month, with a huge selection of days to choose from. I’m really looking forward to see what you’ve created for them.
