Chocolate Apple Pops

These pops don't last too well so it's best to eat them within a couple of hours of making them.
Active Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 8 apple pops

Equipment

  • Melon baller
  • Cake pop sticks (or similar)
  • Something to melt the chocolate in
  • A selection of small bowls/dishes

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 large apple - you should be able to get about 8 balls from 1 apple
  • 100 g milk chocolate - choose a brand that melts well - I used Lindt
  • Sprinkles

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Melt the milk chocolate (100g) - I melt mine in a saucepan over a very low direct heat, but you can also use the microwave or a bain marie if you prefer.
  • Use the melon baller to scoop balls from the apple.
  • Put these onto the cake pop sticks.
  • Decant the melted chocolate into a bowl, dip the apple pop into the melted chocolate. Tap it a couple of times to knock off any excess.
  • Dip the pop into the sprinkles, then leave for the chocolate to set (or just eat them straight away :-) )
