Banana & Strawberry Breakfast Smoothie

Get your day off to a great start with this quick, nutritious and delicious banana and strawberry breakfast smoothie. With an added ingredient to help keep you feeling full until lunchtime.

Ingredients

  • 400 ml skimmed milk
  • 1 banana
  • 6 large strawberries
  • 2 tbsp wheatgerm or bran flakes

Instructions

  • Put all of the ingredients into a blender (400ml skimmed milk, 1 banana, 6 large strawberries, 2 tbsp wheatgerm).
  • Blend until smooth
  • Serve

Notes

If you prefer your smoothie to be a little more icy then you can use frozen bananas and/or strawberries or chuck in a few ice cubes.
If you prefer your smoothie warm then pop it into the microwave (covered) on full power for 1 minute.
